Have we made optional what God has called essential?
In week two of Family Tree, Pastor Josiah teaches from Deuteronomy 6:4-9 about making faith visible in the ordinary rhythms of life. Church cannot be only when nothing else interferes. Prayer cannot be only for a crisis. Scripture cannot receive only the time we have left.
We cannot choose Jesus for the next generation, but we can build homes and lives that show He is our priority. Faith is not an addition to life. It is meant to shape all of life.

What kind of spiritual legacy are you building?
A family tree can reveal where you came from, but it cannot fully show the faith, habits, and spiritual patterns being formed through your life. In week one of Family Tree, Pastor Josiah teaches from Deuteronomy 6:5-6 and reminds us that the change we want to see in our homes and future generations must first begin in us.
Before we ask God to change everyone around us, we must be willing to pray, “Father, start with me.”
